Mira Mesa Dance Team has been based on generations of teachings and traditions. Over time the team has had winnings and losses but the motivation and determination never gave out. Currently our numbers are growing and so is the competition. Every year from January till April Jayna Lee , MMDT Director & Alumni, takes Mira Mesa Dance Team to compete with other schools all around California all leading up to USA Dance Nationals in Anaheim, California. Being on this team is a life lesson in itself. You learn team work, discipline, leadership, responsibilities, and also have the opportunity to not only be a part of the team but a second family. Many would say being on this team saved them and they became a better person because of it. One cant really explain how they feel when being on this team, you just have to be on it to understand.
